Wine Overview
The wines of Garretson Wine Company are a reflection of Mat Garretson's passion for - and knowledge of - classic Rhône grape varieties. Each vineyard we work with is sustainably farmed (and, in many instances, also farmed organically and/or Biodynamically), with a commitment to quality over quantity.
In a way, our wine portfolio represents Mat's continued desire to help educate people about Rhône varieties and how they express themselves through either a special vineyard site or production protocol. We didn't decide to produce Rhône wines because they have become trendy. In a very real way, Mat Garretson helped to start the trend.
